What a striking title. I enjoyed reading your discussion of the various aspects of love, and what you think love is. You've heard the old saying, "It's better to have loved and loss than to have never loved at all." Your final sentences says it all. "Even when hearts are broken. Love heals."

It feels like you are arguing both sides of the coin. I think you are right on both counts. Love is an STD when one person uses sex to make the other fall in love with them for selfish purposes. But real love is kind and selfless and enduring. Great piece. Certainly made me think!

That makes a lot of sense, and I agree with you. You have to hurt sometimes, to know when something is real. Hearts do get broken, but the next one might not. There is risk in anything, but it's well worth taking. Well done, this is a fabulous contest entry. Good luck! Sandra xx
