It seems proper that a sister-in-law would need to inform the sister of her brother's death but it doesn't explain how she knew where Meg was. No one asked how she knew. She seem dangerous since she has already killed two people. You story is so interesting. I wonder how Bessie is so sure that if Meg is murdered it won't be Margo that dies.

No, Margot will have to find out who is leaking information about Meg's whereabouts. Bessie is sure that Margot won't be killed, because they know how and when it would happen, at least they did. But they know an attempt will be made, which Meg didn't... But who knows?
Thank you so much for your lovely review, Beth, I really appreciate it. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

What an amazing episode, after Miles' father went on a mad, abusive rampage, and miles had seen him off the premises, he came back to find that things seemed to be as if nothing had happened. But now Margot has to watch out for foul play, to check the straps on the horse, otherwise Margot/Meg will be history, beautifully written Sandra, excellent post, blessings Roy,

Thank you so much, Roy. There are a few things for Margot and Bessie to consider now that things have changed. I'm so pleased you liked this chapter, my friend, thank you for the lovely comments. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

Comment from John Ciarmello
A bitch, indeed! I never thought about meg's death date changing because of Bessie and Margot's interventions. That's genius! Another great chapter, my friend Sandra. And why did Miles go home to his disdainful father? How does Gwendolyn know where meg lives? You always seem to make my brain hurt! @:o

-An excellent chapter, Sandra, and you have really piqued my interest!
-I looked at the ending several times for this clue about Mildred; I'm guessing it's where Bessie says she has a new idea, and it can't fail.
-The chapter flows well from the beginning when Miles learns what Margot took upon herself to do.
-It was a lovely scene when he went back and saw that things were like he had never left. Everyone was dancing and having a good time.
-An excellent scene between Bessie and Margot that adds some more mystery to what they already had planned, like having to check the horses before she rides, and wondering about the timing of things.
-And then there are the documents; will they get to Miles?!
-Finally, there's Gwendolyn and her 'lovely' visit to Margot.
-It sounds like she is jealous of Margot, but Margot has the last word for now!
-You have really got the ideas spinning here, my friend.

Thank you so much for this really lovely review, Pam, and the golden sixth star! I'm delighted you enjoyed this part.
Gwendolyn is jealous of all women who are pretty!
I really thought you would get the Mildred clue!! Here it is again...
...?If I?m still going to be occupying Meg?s body, will it be my neck that gets broken??
(?Oh Lordy,) no! Anyway, you?s already knowing the date of Meg?s death...
Thank you, dear friend. Have a lovely day. Love and hugs. Sandra xxx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Sandra. Thanks for sharing about Gwendolyn. I figured she would be happy because she did away with the brother! Thanks for the extra about the clue.

This continues to grab my attention as Margot continues to play with fire, despite Bessie's assurances that she won't come to harm. I found these two tiny problem bits:
I somehow doubt Miles would use the term, narcissistic in its psychological sense back then, Margot might but not Miles.
'The best whiskey in my cellar.' >> The English spelling is whisky unless you are referring to Irish whiskey which, like the American spelling uses the 'e'.

I suppose I've spelt Whiskey with an E because Graham drinks Irish Whiskey. Sometimes he will buy a bottle of Scotch Whisky, but I think his preference is Irish. It's strange that they are spelt differently. I never think of American Bourbon as whiskey!! I'm going to change it to whisky, because I want to keep it with an English spelling. :))
I'm going to change narcissistic to something else. Even though it went into the dictionaries in 1822, you're right that it wasn't commonly used until the late 19th century. It's always worth checking these things out, isn't it? I'm glad you picked up on it.
Thanks so much for the helpful review and the sixth star! I appreciated both a lot. Warm hugs, Sandra xx
(I'm over my sons house, and will be home about 5pm. I didn't realise the race was on so eary. We watched the start here, and we've recorded it to watch when we get back. xx)
