Wow! I see why you decided to break this into three segments. He is such an interesting and generous writer who shares what he knows and how he sees the medium. Terrific.

There is a very clear to me, reason why Imy writing has greatly improved over time. It has been in large part the influence of great writers like RGSTAR and others of his ilk. I cannot thank both he and Terry Broxson for putting this series together. It has given me an opportunity to express my gratitude to both of these fine writers for their helpful influence on my writing efforts. Of course there are others, many in fact, but these two in particular.

I love getting into the minds of other writers. These interviews can either confirm that you are on the right path, or help you to find it. Every writer has their own routine that works for them - it's enlightening and helpful to hear what that is.
"Put it away, let it breathe, go back to it." This is my own personal practice.

Pam, thank you, RG confirmed what I thought and made me think. Terry.

It's funny, because I set out as a performer, a writer of material, songs and skits of a performing gospel ban, and beautifully then musical theatre, because I'm a musician, my writing started with songwriting, writing lyrical for other's music, I progressed to poetry natural, but Like RG, it was a progression, one can get as much from a haiku as multi stanzered poem, but I've never really thought about, until one day, you say to yourself, how did I get here? Blessings

Thank you, Roy; maybe RG can get you some work in one of the Shakespear Revivals! You all would make a fantastic duo; I am thinking the comedies, not the tragedies. But I am not a casting director; maybe it would be more of a tragedy. Terry.

Who knows Terry, RG is a different writer to me,
-
Two good writers

Thanks Terry

Knowing this is the last one in the series made a little sad! It has been excellent series and I feel I've learned much. Indeed, I'll likely go back to some of the responses as reminders.
"Put it away! Return to it. Let the work breathe. Don't stifle it because you are only stilling your creativity." This can be hard for some of us to do -- we want to finish it, but, in our hearts and minds' we know it is not really 'finished' until we have created our best work. A very good reminder.
I'v enjoyed the series. thanks to all of you! ann

Thank you for the six stars, I think you nailed the best advice RG gave about walking away. But he had a lot of good advice. Terry.
