Your poem is well written, Roy. I enjoyed reading it. Yes, you will go where God leads you. Thanks for the notes, too. Your line are smooth flowing with good rhymes and great imagery. The image is a good pairing, too.
Respectfully, Jan

So pretty Mr. Roy.
Time is certainly flying by, faster
and faster each year.
Which brings my Heaven closer, so,
as your poem states, no point in
worrying about time, or clinging to it.
We are without end.
Love this,
blessings...

Excellent, I love the whole read-though your last stanza is the most powerful, faith cannot be an empty shell as you say otherwise hell is our only option, very well written and presented****kahpot

I really enjoyed your poem. Great rhyme, meter, flow and wisdom in those words. I appreciate the scriptural references in your author notes too. Loved the spirituality of it, it brings comfort to a soul, and the importance of faith.
Favorite lines, among many:
For I embrace what futures bring,
and yet to time I do not cling.
My life's contained in timeless climes,
not in the realms of clock-borne chimes.

There is no limit to time - or to God's wisdom. Whatever happens and whenever it happens will be for our own good. Meanwhile,we need to make our time count, rather than just counting time.

Roy,
This poem is a nice statement of faith and that it helps you in the good and bad times. Time becomes eternal for the believer.
Keep writing and say healthy

I always wonder what lies just around the bend. I believe there is a spirit world there. I don't know all the ins and outs that go on there, and I wonder if God lives there, or does He reside somewhere else.

The message in this neatly scribed poem is clear and timely (lol) and certainly of value to each of us. I enjoyed it very much and hope it resonates with everyone who reads it. I think my favorite part is the very first four lines:
What lies around the bend, you ask,
what future holds behind its mask?
We'll never know the road ahead,
yet trust is best, be Spirit-led.
Your author notes accentuate the important message, which I also love... God is in control and whether we agree or not, His will is to be done "on earth as it is in Heaven." So we might as well trust and obey. Great rhyming and perfect meter... as always. MM
