Yay! So many of us can relate to this! I noticed you used the format of a Shakespearean sonnet so that you could use certain words unknown in our present time and I think that it worked! This one certainly resonates with me! I love the rhymes of tantalize and arise! I also love the beautiful picture that you chose for this piece.
This is an excellent sonnet and a very topical issue among all of the writers on Fan Story.
So many of us write in the wee early morning hours and get to listen to songbirds bringing in the dawn. I arise after midnight and write my best work in those early hours.
