Crazy story, but interesting. God only knows how this will end up. Like all your stories, it will be good. Thanks for sharing. Good one, Sandy. I see nothing wrong.

Uh-oh. There's more to this than meets the eye. Of course, there is. Duh! He seems to think she's Meg, someone from him time, wherever he is. Somehow, I don't feel this is a good thing for Margot, but I hope I'm wrong.

Who doesn't like a good ghost story? I think we all enjoy a romantic one, right? The ghost seems to have Margot mixed up with his Meg. Hmmm, that could be a problem. Bessie won't be any help because she is apparently a ghost as well. LOL Good job, Sandra. Nancy:)

I love ghosts! I had them in my This Time -That Time trilogy, they are easy to work with!! Lol. Thank you so very, very much for giving me another of your precious sixes, Nancy! I'm over the moon that you are liking this story. You'll learn a bit more about Bessie as the story progresses. Thank you, my dear, sweet friend. Love you lots, Sandra. xxx

This continues a good beginning with a great second helping. If it had had pages I would have been turning them.
I was a little confused at the beginning by the opening sentence:
'Wasting no time, Margot asked Mr Reid if they could go straight to her flat so he could give her a quick valuation.' I thought perhaps this needed a little explanation. I might have written:
'Wasting no time, Margot asked Mr Reid if they could go straight to her flat so he could give her a valuation for its quick sale.'
But it is a minor point probably only necessary because of the week's gap in the serialisation.

Thank you! This is how it reads now:
Wasting no time, Margot asked Mr Reid if they could go straight to her flat so he could give her a quick valuation for a speedy sale....
I'm glad you pointed that out. And, what a lovely compliment, to say you would be turning the pages. That's what I'm like with yours.
Thank you so much for the sixth star, Jim, and the nice review. I really appreciated it. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

And just when one feels they are exactly where they belong, it all goes topsy turvy. The twinkling eyes of Bessie and her responses make me feel she's a ghost, but not at all ready to reveal herself. He, on the other hand, sets me a bit on edge. He comes and lures her into his web, and then announces he might be leaving...but for how long and why? Aww the reader enjoys the suspense and the chills.
Smiles and hugs, Sandra. Another terrific story unfolding. Congratulations on the response. Awesome!!!
Love ya, Carol

Aww, thank you, Carol, coming from another superb author, this is the greatest compliment I could have. The sixth star is the icing on top. Margot has a few things to learn yet before.... Sorry, I don't know what happened there, it has to be those darned ghosts!!! Lol. Thanks so much, dear friend. Love you loads! Sandra xxxx
Comment from Jasmine Girl
It's strange that the Holton House comes with a housekeeper. Can she afford to pay her? It looks like she can't forget all the intimate moment of her former boyfriend who left her in the cold.
You did a great job expressing her sensual imagination.
Exceptionally done.

Hi Sandra,
Another good continuation as the ghostly fella thickens the plot. Good stuff
full of mint rosemary and lavender, - should there be a comma after mint here?
'Ah, of course, Mr Reis would have let you know.' - Mr Reid.
three sets of Egyption cotton sheets. - Egyptian.
would have to wait until and aerial could be fitted - an aerial.

Thank you so much, Gareth, I'm so pleased you're back! I've made all those corrections of my stupid errors! I'd been through it so many times, too. Thanks for your lovely review, my friend. I'm glad you like the plot. Warm hugs. :)) Sandra xx

This is intriguing and eerie. I wonder if she will soon regret buying his place and if she will fear she has been lured into something that she can't handle. I also wonder about the maid. Is she even real or is she a ghost as well. I'll be waiting for more of this story.

She knows she belongs there, but doesn't know why. (If I'd been her, I'd have run a mile! lol) Is Bessie a ghost? Or something else? We will find out soon. :))
Thank you so much for reading chapter two, Beth, I'm glad you are enjoying it. Love and hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I absolutely love this story, Sandra. It's really fascinating. So she's bought the house where she feels she belongs, and now he's back as well, albeit he may be away for a while.
I just wonder whether Bessie is a ghost as well, or a mere remembrance from a time that once was. I'll have to wait and see. A big hug. Ulla xxx

You have me hooked on this story. I absolutely love it.
He raised a hand in greeting and after a few more minutes he finished the call. ('more' is an extra word and not needed)
'Actually, that will fit in fine with me. ('with me' isn't needed)
And as if to prove it, she bent down and picked up the metal bowl, that had apparently fallen to ('down' is extra and not needed)
