Great piece showing your mother's love to all, esp. her granddaughter.

Loved the flow of the rhyme as it sang its story. It brought memories of many loved ones long ago at Christmas. I have a similar story of my mother and me.

There comes a time in our lives when darkness surrounds us and lures us to gloomy thoughts. Things feel too desolate; hope seems to be lost somewhere far away from our reach. In such dark times, what gives us motivation is the power of God. He inspires us with his teachings, This is a beautifully penned, smooth flowing poem about Christ. Another lovely flow. I really liked 'God's lamb was born' and 'wore frail flesh', the only thing that got me was grieved for reprieve just because of the rhyme in the one sentence but that's just me.

I loved this poem and the thought that your mother knitted a complete Nativity and gave it to your daughter Rebecca and each year she gets it out for a position pride of place, this says a lot for the love that exists in your family which I think is lovely. God Bless and have a great Christmas.

This brought memories of when I was wee lad during WW2. Living on an arsenal with both parents working around the clock Our Christmas was sometimes skimp.

This is a beautifully rhymed and smoothly metered poem about the birth and death of Christ and what it did fo us. I love decorating for Christmas too. I have several nativity scenes. I think the one in the photo is a nice one.
