If I touched her, would she be real, or a reflection of what you wanted me to see? Your preoccupation with sense and substance, physical presence, emanations of who and what we are, come together in the simplicity of your poem, which will be meaningful to some and perplexing to others. Different things matter to different people - depends how they make sense of their worlds.

I take it that you are a physicist. You got me on the poem, but I'm giving you a five for the picture. "Sense creates matter" is what threw me. I got a "D" in physics in college.

Great play on words, my friend. Your poem flows well. It draws on emotions and it presents strong images. Good words count and connection between lines.

What a sensitive and sensible write. My senses are all atwitter at your clever write. It is always a pleasure to witness someone else doing something I am tempted to do from time to time. It is prime and real validation. i LOVED THE WRITE.

Hi John,
Oh my! Wave/particle duality in action to a tee... I am no authority for sure but found your 8 line poem a summary of the possibilities the wave/particle duality creates. It is a conundrum of sorts... as Einstein stated
"It seems as though we must use sometimes the one theory and sometimes the other, while at times we may use either. We are faced with a new kind of difficulty. We have two contradictory pictures of reality; separately neither of them fully explains the phenomena of light, but together they do."
I really enjoyed this theory packed poem in only eight words.
Always,
Senyai

Looks as if you want the reader to ponder on this 8 word poem and decide if it makes sense to them or not. I got the first two lines but I am still pondering on the third line - brain matter since we have to think. LOL
Always, Carol

.. And around and around we go.. I see much cyclical connection in this universe, and in your metaphysical mind whirl of a poem here. Short but heavy, I like it

I thought the first two lines of this poem were brilliant. However, I found they were sufficient unto themselves, and the last line added nothing (but that could just be me).
