Sisters have a bond like no other. You fight. You play together. Growing up with a sister can be awesome, but it can also be annoying. Having a sister is probably the biggest love/hate relationship you'll ever experience. I enjoyed your emotional poem. Thanks for sharing!

Linda, this is a wonderful tribute to your sister, Diane. I enjoyed reading her poetry inside yours.. that was a clever touch. Great job on it all and the notes are meaningful and I liked it when you yelled... I need a date... so funny. Great job, my friend.

Truly sisters are forever. I think I told you before that I have a sister named Diane as well. We are 10 years apart in age so we were never as close as you and your Diane but we are good friends.
This is a lovely tribute to your beloved sister. Well done.
Blessings

You have crafted a powerful poem that's very touching. It is a lovey tribute for your sister and her poem is beautifully written as well. May your sorrow ease in time.

Hi Linda, I remember your deep and close relationship with your beloved sister, and your early years. This poem is a beautiful tribute to her, as are the notes you wrote as well. She was fragile and you were her guardian as well as her best friend and most wonderful sister. I'm glad you published her poem. She was a skilled writer too. Wonderful.
Hugs to you.

All my life I wanted a sister. I imagined a relationship just like you and Diane had...
Your poem is a loving tribute and beautifully written. I could picture you "casing" her apartment to be sure she was safe! Diane's poem, too gave me insight into her perceptions. Brilliant of you to shine a light on her talent! So glad she was published!
I am sincerely sorry for your loss. Sometimes the only way through grief is to pour our pain onto the page. She lives on forever through you my friend! Hope she's smiling down on these six stars.
Hugs,
Karenina

I love this poem... about your sister and you. I had three sisters and enjoyed nothing more than when we could all get together to sing and play Scrabble. It is evident you loved your sister very much and had a special relationship since very young. I liked your sister's poem very much too. Thank you for sharing this.

Hi Adonna, she only has a hand full of them...but they show how talented she was...she was so smart...she got to where she had a hard time leaving her home...and she was a big chin smoker...so we could only stay so long...and after you couldn't take it in her house anymore...we all went home...I wish we had spent more time together...but I loved when we did...sigh....
and I love playing Scrabble...I play with my girlfriend (Joanna) and her daughters...I tell them...it's the luck of the draw...my luck is...I get the same letters...triple...and I get...the q, x, z, ...with no vowels...go figure...LOL...
Thank You for a wonderful review sweet girl...I love my sister very much...and miss her sooooo...love you...Linda xxoo

I am sorry for your loss. Distance didn't decay your relationship, and may have enhanced it in some ways.
And thank you for sharing your story of the two of you heading in from work. You were a great sister to her. I'm sure she knew that.
Thank you,
Blessings,
Deb?

Hi, Linda. You've encouraged me to visit my own little Linda (sister). We talk on the phone all the time, but odn't get to see each other often, even though there are only about 4 hours separating us. But I'm going to make the effort to create time and make a visit happen. Thank you.
Gld blesss!

Hi Deb, we have no idea what tomorrow will bring sweet girl...it's a great idea to go see Linda...
