LOL!! That Chuck would have made a brilliant Prime Minister in the UK, we believe all our MPs are trained to come up with great stories to hookwink us! Three times in one night, that's really amazing. I used to be good at getting out of trouble with my parents when I was a teenage - well, sometimes! The descriptions in the excuses were fabulous, and the police believed him? Lol. I loved this one, Liz! It should win story of the month! :)) Sandra xxx

Haha what a quick thinker Chuck was those three times. It seems the group would have just gone home after the first time, but no they wanted to press their luck. Chuck was great at making up ridiculous stories -except for the brain issue one--that one could have been believable by most anyone.

Funny, fun tale. Each of these, with a little enhancement, could have been a short story unto itself. But then it would not have proven the point, that Chuck's story-telling skills were immaculate. I also very much like the idea that he thinks he tells a story well while punctuating each sentence with the word "so". I kind of wanted the story to go on after their escape. It felt like you ended in a hurry. How did they respond to his little ruse? I do like how you relate the tale in Chuck's voice. I thought the ice-cream shop fiasco and its accompanying explanation for Jimmy's behavior was hysterical. Though it was part of Chuck's character, too many "so's". Thanks for the believable laughs.
