I love your script. Thank you so much for the notes but even without them, your writing has a definite pulse and tempo. Your characters are instantly likeable. Their responses to each other are very real. Each character makes you want to know more about them, especially Jennie who is talkative enough for both of them. She is charmingly boisterous in her own quiet way but avoids being annoying to both the reader and Cornelius. Really liked it.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this scene, Ali (?). It's more grounded in reality than the previous two scenes, and it shows in the increased readership over the others. Cornelius needs Jennie. He doesn't realize yet just how much. Thank you so much!

Yes, I did read the notes first! Thanks for the reminder--in the 60's there was a boy on my block who continually hummed, never spoke. I asked my mother what was wrong with him and she said he was "artistic" (so I misconstued!)
Touching interaction between them--especially the wonderful climax of the scene when he passes her the sandwich.

Yeah, that ending had a touch of Hollywood in it. You can almost hear the music come up when he hands her his sandwich and accepts hers. Thanks for being so loyal to my few contributions here at FS.
