Hey Jay
ah those wonderful, hopefully forgotten years of flipping school...the end for us was grade 7...by grade 8, still emotinally stunted, neither teenagers of kids, we were thrust into the waiting arms of budding socialpaths, other wise known as the senior class mates. I went to a school that was grade 8 to 12...luckily my brother was a local bad boy and procurer of certain materials. Me, I was just a tough little introvert, best eft alone...but it was hell...
thanks for the memories..

I feel like I should apologize for giving you those memories. Eighth grade was tough for a lot of us. Thanks so so much for your statement of resonance with my script. Your six is a super bonus. Thanks again Jody!

I absolutely loved this. The dialogue given by Mr. Hiney is perfectly done and builds the tension in the scene so well. The directions given in between lines add so much to the overall scene as well. This was great, so thank you for this.

Oh, You are the type of reader I long for. Thanks for your warm reception of this script. I hope I keep you for the rest of the play. Since I don't pre-outline, I don't know where it's going. But I'm confident it will continue to resonate with you. Thanks for your kindness and your six stars!

Gripping scene! You nailed Mr. Hiney's pompous teacher-talk--his hyperbolic diatribe makes for a stunning build-up to the climax. Poignant interaction between Cornelius and Jenny.

Having caused absolute chaos in the classroom, and disturbed Cornelius in particular, Mr. Hiney (teacher behaving like a pupil) can't cope. His only proposed solution is to send a pupil out for reinforcements. Pathetic behaviour that was well depicted.

As a former educator, I found this script to be quite authentic in both setting and dialogue. I love how you brought out the teacher's emotions through expressive and vivid dialogue. Quite a unique script overall. I found this to be a rare treat. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Cybertron (you don't mind that I call you by your given name do you?) I'm glad you found the scene enjoyable and realistic.
