Of all the places I might run off to during this pandemic, Texas might be one of the last. LOL. Barbados, Hawaii, or a mountain so high I can see people coming before they get there. Thanks for sharing.

Ha ha ha, sometimes we just have to throw in the towel and move on! Especially if we are in a job that brings us down! Been there like a robot turning up for work every day and being under appreciated! Ha ha ha, love your flash fiction, you made me smile, love Dolly x

Hah! Sal!
I'll join you in Texas ... or ... Texas shall lead the way!
What a delightful flash fiction offering! Loved every morsel.
So... what city in Texas should we call our new home?
Thank you for the smiles!

Thanks for giving me a laugh first thing today. This sounds much like my days, but substitute Dr. Diet Pepper for the coffee. How many more days will this last. I think I'll join you in Texas! lol

The cure- depression with a side order of laughter. I like the way you have addressed your subject. It is done in a witty matter. Great choices with the picture and video.

It is evident that this pandemic has painted in a "depressant grey" all our lives and routines. Your writing expressed that clearly and opens another door to change it. But this is a very personal decision. The proverb "It depends on you to feel happy" fits here like a glove. Your choice in artwork underlines your message, reinforcing it. Thanks for sharing!

Great little piece of flash fiction expressing the boredom of the everyday grind, and the effects of perpetual lockdown and masking. I sometimes think of it as gagging. Loved the last line.
Tiny correction: espresso, not expresso
