Earl, I think only people who have been there and done that can understand the depth of what you are saying. I spent my time with the 8th Inf. Germany after the war. I missed one of those details as mentioned and so blessed I did.
It was trash detail where we picked up all the trash and empted the bends into the back of 2.5 ton.
Some idiot placed a live 40m round in the trash and my buddy threw the contents into the truck and it explode costing him his left hand.
So much for detail. But I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. !
