AAAAAAAAAAhhhh nice to be thinking about Fall with the leaves full of color and the smell of campfire in the air. Blotting out the blindly blizzard outside my window.
Very nice poem to feel free of winter. Beautifully written.

Thank you Patty for your encouraging review. Sorry about the blizzard outside. I'm from Northwest PA, so I remember blizzards very well. But....spring is coming.

I loved this poem. It brought back such memories of those wonderful autumn sunsets. We don't get them here in South Australia! Your description is vivid and absolutely on point.

Your words paint not only a picture, but also a video. I could just see everything you described, even without looking at the beautiful picture you chose. I loved reading it.

Jan,
Your words gives heed to your artwork. They match well. The poem reminds of all the season changes and all have their own beauty.
Keep writing and stay healthy,

Janet, solid, very solid! Your quatrains flow very nicely and your end rhymes are unforced and show good success in the overall poem. I fine reading experience, good success.

-Very nice image and
presentation, Janet.
-Very good imagery and rhyme.
-You paint a vivid word picture
of an October day.
-I like the line about the snowy owl.
-A good concluding verse, too.

I really enjoyed how descriptive this is. The reader can easily envision the moment. I think you have included nearly all the senses...touch, smell, sight, sound...only taste is missing and yet I can taste the fresh, cool air. You have captured both the essence of fall superbly while wetting our appetite for the glory of spring. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely poem. Warm regards...NK

A very well-written poem about the autumn season that always surprise us with something incredible like a beautiful colorful sky that is not the normal sky we are used to.
