Wow, what an amazing continuation chapter Sandra. Poor Monica who is befuddled after calling the police and getting nowhere. Then she remembered Grant Blake and was determined to get him to listen to her. Now and only now will we get some clarity. Great chapter. Hugs, smiles and blessings for a wonderful holiday season.

Hi Alie, you really put a smile on my face with your review. It's going to get quite tense any time soon. I'm so pleased you are still enjoying my story. Sending you a humongous hug! Have a lovely week, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Things will start happening now that she's gone to Blake. He probably knows where Colin has taken Tania. I missed the fact that Monica was Black. How kind the family was to take her in as one of her own. She was probably very lucky no white family turned up.

Oh, yes. Grant has some good friends, too. This was the first time I've mentioned Monica was black, I've been struggling with how to mention it without being criticised. But going back into her memory of how she and Tania became so close, I was able to slip that fact in without even mentioning her colour, but at the same time letting readers know. It's hard work this writing lark!! Lol.

Thank you so very much, my dear sister across the pond, (that has such a nice ring to it!!) for another of your wonderful reviews and for all those shiny stars. You are lovely. Keep strong, my friend, and try to smile at least four times a day. Think of this crazy lady and it will come naturally. Warm hugs and lots of love, Sandra. xxxx

Hi Sandra, this is a brilliant continuation to the story. Of course Monica has all reason, to believe that Tania has been kidnapped. I'm not at all surprised about the police reaction. That's what they would do when an adult is involved. Why didn't Monica tell them about the shoe?
And now she's confronting Grant. Can't wait to be reading on. A hug. Ulla xxx

Hi Ulla, What a really encouraging review! Thank you so very much for those fabulous comments and for the shiny six stars. :)) Colin is not a nice person and he can't be trusted at all. I'm so pleased you liked the continuation. Have a lovely week, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

Well, the cat's out of the bag now! Grant is now aware that Tania knows Colin and that he has indeed been guilty of stealing her plans before? Well, Monica will have the help she needs now. Grant is an important man and can influence a search. Well done. Sandra. Nancy:)

Finally we will get somewhere and I'm pretty sure Grant's SAS training will come in handy in rescuing Tania and getting to the truth. I am liking this story better and better, and I already had liked it a lot.

The poor lady doesn't seem to be getting anywhere quick. First, the police, and now him. Hopefully, he can help, figure out where the man might go. Your story is well-written, interesting believable from start to finish. I like how you added a little back story. It makes your characters more believable, dimensional.

Well done Sandra. You know how to tell a good story with plenty of mystery and tension in this episode. Grant to the rescue maybe LOL? He is quite fanciable. 'tears pricked at Monica's eyes'? Pricked sounds maybe a bit like someone pricking a needle - maybe 'tears began to well up.....' Just an idea to toss or take in an otherwise well written chapter. 'White family' sounds a bit awkward. Maybe ' a family of white nationality' sounds more official? Well done yet again - a goo read - love and blessings - Dorothy xxx

Thank you so much, Dorothy, for your helpful review. I'll take another look at what you've mentioned. This is an area that needs to be right. I'm so pleased that you liked this part, after the last one, this is not so tense; but with Colin, anything is possible now he has Tania hidden away. He's not a nice man. Thanks again, my friend. :) Sandra xx

You did a great job, Sandra, with this chapter. Readers find out so much in the minute details you share about Tania's and Monica's relationship, the car accident that claimed the lives of Tania's parents, and so many more 'fill-in-the-blank' details that adds substance to the story. It is great to see that their relationship, Monica's and Tania's, has stood the test of time. Now in this extreme situation, it's crucial for Tania to have a strong ally in Monica. You added interest to the relationship by having the two of them be of different races. That will be useful, if you wish, as a tangent for other ideas to develop in the story. I like the boldness Monica showed when confronting GBlake. This chapter read well and sets up the next one nicely.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

What an amazing review, Jan. Thank you so very much. You are the first to mention Monica and Tania being of different races. I wanted to bring more cultures into my writing, and your review made it so worth while. Thank you so much for that. Your whole review was simply wonderful, I read it out to my husband because it is such a professional review. Thank you. Warm hugs, my dear friend. :) Sandra xx

Thank you so much, Sandra. I try to do a couple reviews before starting my day in dealing with all of the 'things' necessary from my brothers passing. I always try to review yours in a timely period. I'm so far behind, have no time to do much reviewing to earn MCP's so I post without promoting. But, you are so kind to review regardless of payout.
    Sincerely, Jan

Oh, Jan, I can only guess at how difficult it is for you. Just keep writing and posting, it does help and will be good for you. I know Christmas looming, and that will be hard, but you are strong, and your faith in God, is as well. Love you lots, dear friend. xxx

Monica is a little fighter and she seems to be making progress. Interesting story Sandy. Very nail biting. Now we get Grant involved. A great door to solve the mystery.
