Honestly, when I started reading your first paragraphs (not the high school part - that fear of public speaking I attribute to that horrible middle school teacher you had.) After reading your observations about the debate, I was going to quip something about moving to NZ but you beat me to it. It sounds lovely there but way too far from family. Thanks for the offer of help settling in!
