An enjoyable poem about feelings we have about our lives and how we live it and how we cope with whatever comes along. The words flow easily throughout the poem and the meaning comes through clearly. Also reminding that sometimes it's okay to fall apart when all else fails to help us feel better.

Hi Yvette, a fine compilation of words to show the ups and downs in life and the meaning of prayer, very nicely put, and thank you for sharing with everyone. Kind regards Colin xx

This is a lovely rendering of advice regarding life and the ins and outs that we face daily. No one knows what's in your soul or your heart. That is only shared with God. Don't hide when things go wrong. Cry if you must there's nothing wrong with being disappointed and sad. It happens.
This is so well done and compassionately written with much discernment.

Thanx so much for your encouraging review here, Ralf -- feels kinda weird responding as it really was such an emotional write (you know, one of those 'cleansing' ones, if that makes any sense...). But those stars are a wonderful reassurance that my words resonated (and didn't step on any toes... sometimes I get accused of being 'unfeeling' cuz I'm just not one to 'show' my feelings...) Take care of you out there , and make the most of your weekend hours (whatever that may be)! ;) :) ;) ;) Yvette

I have a deep sense here that you have come through a rough time in your life. I know it's none of my business, but I do have that feeling.
You are in my prayers.

And you, my beautiful lady, are a very perceptive person. Thank you for your prayers... ;)

Perfect. Yvette this is a lovely, comforting poem. We are allowed to fall apart. I remember my neighbour coming to me in floods of tears shortly after her husband died. She'd been so staunchly upright, not giving in to her grief, until she saw Ray's toothbrush in the glass next to hers. Those are the simple things that hurt the most. Your words say it so well. I'm sure this will comfort her a lot. Well done, my friend. Sandra x

I know what you mean. I wasn't sure how to reply, just saying, thank you. The important thing is, that one day, when Yvonne is up to reading all our poems, they will bring her some comfort to know we all care. xx

This is a lovely heartfelt poem. It should encourage Yvonne as she struggles. What happened to her? Poor girl. Sounds like I need to pray for her, too.

She lost her son, Rebecca -- I do not know the details (not that any are necessary for such an awful scenario...). But Thanx so much for your review on this one, my lady -- I know it was a lot heavier than my usual ... Here's wishing you a great weekend over there! ;) Yvette

A very well-written poem to comfort Yvonne in her loss and let her know she can depend on her FanStory family to keep praying for her so that she can soar on eagle wings without worries.

This one really stood out to me. I'm sure anyone who has been in a position of feeling lost or grieved would. It was beautifully written and looked like it was very well thought out. Truly contemplative.

Hello, Yvette,
Beautiful poem about grief and deep empathy for a friend...your friend Yvonne. Is the book of prayers for everybody? I think I've seen other poets write for her. I have a lot of favorite parts. LoL
....Nobody knows except the One -(when we are in the deepest point of grief, nobody can understand except the Divine in us....or God.) Who breathes the breeze and lights the sun -(what a poetic way to express wind and sun created by God)
So find your solace in each hour -(one hour at a time is all we can handle when we are in pain.)
(The ending made me cry) .....but know those times when nothing works
Awesome! Well done!
it's damned okay to fall apart.
