I really enjoyed this poem. I love the references to others and the rhythm and sing-songy feel to it. The poem spoke to reality in a fun way. Truly enjoyable piece of work. :)

This poem is an interesting interpretation of the contest requirements. The poem is upbeat and the speaker is spunky. The piece has a bit of a country style to it. I, too, am a fan of Dorothy Parker.
