The perfect place to inspire a prayer. You made good use of alliteration. I don't know enough about these short forms to write one, but I really like this.

Thank you so much, Yvonne. I don't really know how to do these short forms but Gypsy's poem inspired this one. Hugs!

Your couplet is lovely to match your lovely illustration. I liked your use of alliteration in the first line. It is well written and I enjoyed it. Nicely done.

I was trying to convey how on the mountaintop, everything comes together into perspective. I don't know if I succeeded in just two lines. I think Petrarch wrote an essay about that mountaintop effect. Appreciate the review! Blessings!

This sounds like the mind and heart that is set on God and is intent on being heard. That's the heart that is full of faith and the one that will be heard by Him. You've said quite a bit here with so few words. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

Hello to you lyenochka
7-7- following Gypsy's 575 syllables about the beauty of a mountain that we can out say Mountain Prayer. Here I sit admiring the Vermont green mountains and thanking God for such a beautiful sight.

Very beautiful presentation, and the artwork presents a lovely, soothing picture. Excellent alliteration with "perfect prayer perspective." God would appear close in the lovely, peaceful setting. Interesting wording with God having a listening heart. judi

Hello, Helen,
Beautiful couplet to follow my haiku. It's a wonderful addition to our renga book, thank you very much.
Check the syllable count. I see 7/8
as words reach God's lis/te/ning heart -8
you could say.... 'as words reach listening hearts' ....since god is in all of us....just an idea. :)
Well done,
gypsy

Thank you for the gracious words despite the syllable issue. I'll change that with a syncope to make sure it's just two syllables for list'ning. Hugs!

Is this a new book Helen? Or is this just another chapter to the old one my friend? It doesn't matter you wrote on the other one, so it's a silly question, well done, just love this one. Blessings Roy,

Thank you so much, Roy. It's the same book that Gypsy made and it's to go one for hundreds of chapters so anytime some poem moves you to write a poem, hope you'll jump right in. Blessings!

I rather like it, you provided a perfect prompt for mine Helen.

I think that's the beauty of this book - we all get inspired by the Spirit as we respond to each other's words.
