Another sweet couplet to be worked into this multi-author work. Essentially the renga would seem to be a set of tanka, split between authors. Is an editor going to link them all in order I wonder.

It seems strange to me to read about winter in July, and blocks me somewhat. The first line is rather proactive, but the second lives up to the word calm, and creates an intesnse feeling of peace.
