Is the painting one of Monet's? I get the funeral drift. Is the orchard the flower of the lilies? I think I must be having a senior's moment. So...why does the orchard withdraw? New life after floating death?

Yes it is one of Monet's. The orchard withdraws because the fruit from the trees has been devoured by hungry birds in the previous posting from Mrs. K.T. Thank you so much always, K. :))
