Wonderful exhortation in the Lord in your well rhymed verses, Portia. You outline how we should be living daily that we can be strong, free and victorious in the Lord!

Hello Portia,
I pray all is well with you and your family. I love your imagery of the cross and the words on it, "Be Strong In The Lord." Your poem shares so much we need to know about our God. I agree, let not our worship be in vain. As believers, we should do our very best to live righteously. We should never lose our hope in our Lord and Savior. We all should stay faithful in what we do and know it will never be in vain. This is a well-written message of hope and staying steadfast in God's Holy Word. Also, I like how you made the words rhyme in your message. Good job, as always! Thank you for the beautiful scriptures. Thanks and happy writing:-) Stay safe, blessed, and strong in the Lord.

I found this quote which I believe tells us what is amazing what grace can do.
When granted many years of life, growing old in age is natural, but growing old with grace is a choice. Growing older with grace is possible for all who will set their hearts and minds on the Giver of grace, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Oh Gert,
Thanks so much for sharing that quote by Bill Graham it is indeed a blessings to my soul. And Gert, as we grow older in grace, we must set an example and teach our children that which is good and encourage them to do that which is right is the sight of our Lord and Savior. Thanks so much for sharing. You have given me insight on my next poem.

This was a well written poem, but I would put only one no extra lines between the lines within each stanza. I think it would look nicer that way. No improvements to suggest on the actual content of the poem.

Thank you for sharing this poem, for uplifting our faith in God. I love how you put strict meter in every lines in 10 counts. The pattern of rhyming doesn't sound forced to me. It was natural. Well done.
