In my opinion, a stunning free verse write, deserving of an 'Exceptional' rating, but unfortunately I have no Six Stars at this time, so they must be virtual for this outstanding poem - lytically fluid in its narrative. Best wishes in the contest...

Hi there, this is really a poem that tries to keep a positive note. It gives us hope and that's what we need in these dark days that is now getting a grip on the world. Good luck. Ulla:))

I was drawn to your poem because the graphic looked like a NZ fern leaf, and was delighted by your words... lovely imagery from nature putting emotions and thoughts in quite an abstract manner yet filled with meaning: "anointing of the unseen".

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Lisa May. You caught those lines so well. You are a poet.

I've felt this anointing, in fact this world is miraculous, and one thinks to oneself that how are the chances of this wonderful creation be an act of accidental proportions, a perfect world that has an inbuilt defence mechanism that man is determined to batter down. Well done, blessings, Roy

A very well-written poem about hope in the things we can and sometimes cannot see that is possible through the faith and trust we have in God that all never let us feel fearful.

Hello my friend
Fine entry for the Hope poem contest. Simple presentation. The meaning is not clear...at least for me. Good job overall.

I love the artwork you choose to go with your poem, they are a prefect match.
You captured my attention from the first line to the last. Your words were powerful and on point. This is what I call a food for thought poem

This is an interesting free verse poem that takes a artist who loves life down a path of hopelessness but is able to find in nature some that brings back that spark of hope that makes likfe worthwhile again. Nice entry for the contest.

We look for the virus to protect ourselves from it. But we can't see it. We begun to lose hope. But if we really look with the eyes of our heart, we will see signs of hope. But more importantly, we will feel it. Well done.
