What a lovely, rhythmic offering, W.J.! :) That cadence of your 8-8-8-8 paired with your repetition of 'my horse and I' (love the variations of that, by the way - awesome!) set up the feel of a trotting or a galloping to really delightfully enclose the reader into your tiny tale! ;) Seriously, this would be a great little children's book of a little boy and his horse for beginning readers -- just make sure you have it ready by the time my boys decide to settle down an give me grandsons!! Great job, my lady -- six stars all yours! ;) :) Yvette :)
