A very well-written haiku about ice and fire that start quakes and winds can it be caused by Satan's disciples roaring or is it God who let His wrath come down to us for our disobedience.

Exceptional piece of poetry. I enjoyed the simple but vivid expression. Nice work for meditation and reflection. Excellent use of vocabulary and fair image. Keep it up!

I hear about the wrath of God and then on the underhand I hear that he is all forgiving and welcoming and the two sound like human emotions to me. I enjoyed your Haiku as it made me think Henry, love Dolly x

I don't know; actually, I think it's too soon to tell. We have always had these diverse types of extreme weather in our world. How are satan's disciples roaring? Well I guess sometimes they do, like in the media -- but many times they also function quietly in the background, hoping we won't notice. "The world" and the things of the world have been around since the beginning of recorded time. The devil has really been pushing his agenda for that long. Spiritual warfare is nothing new. There may be more quakes and fires, though, as we get closer to the end times. I don't think God is very happy with His creation.

Thank you very much for reading my poem. That small piece did what I wanted it to do - it makes readers think. Your stars are wonderful. There is a Bible verse ? Satan's disciples roar like lions seeking someone to devour.

You're very welcome, Henry. You're right that the Bible compares satan to a roaring lion. I know the verse you mean. We have to watch our backs these days. "Watch and pray," as Jesus said.

Interesting question you pose in this insightful entry for the Haiku contest. This is much deeper than most haiku (and any I've ever written). I appreciate your author notes. It's a great entry and I wish you luck in the contest.
