You paint beautiful word pictures of the season without using the forbidden words in this entry for Poem of Spring contest. Thanks for your author notes and good luck in the contest.

Bravo Bravo Bravo anonymous poet!!
This was a breathtaking poem, so perfect in every way, and I just LOVED it. The repetition of "water falling from the sky" adds a certain lilt to the tone and additional depth, and made it go from great to exceptional. Good luck xoxoxoxoxo

Wow, Gypsy Moon!! You just made my weekend... got a great smile on right now that'll last through any of this incessant rain 'round here, so thank you for both your comments and those lovely stars - so awesome! Spring, Spring: get your butt in gear and warm things up! LOL!
I'm so glad you enjoyed my crazy 'big' words... I couldn't resist being a bit 'sarcastic' with the contest definition... so glad you enjoyed!! Take care out there and thank you again! :)

This is amazing! I am so completely impressed by this, that I have to search my mind for the words to explain it -- maybe even write another poem! But yours will do very nicely here.
THANK YOU for the vocabulary list in your Notes -- I guess you wanted to save many of us (like me) the trouble of looking up the words. I am going to make note of these and try to remember them -- and behold, one or two might reappear in FanStory, in the future.
Now all I have to do is look up the flowers you referred to. I happen to LOVE flowers, and I enjoy being able to identify them.
That picture you gave us is, as we used to say in the distant past, far out! (Some of the millennials might need to look that one up.)
I especially like the way you got around the word "rain" (we mustn't use four letter words in our poems, haha) by referring to it as "water falling from the sky." The surprising thing is, it sounds so beautiful that way!
Here's what I think: Your poem needed to be written, and that's why the contest with the forbidden words was initiated. It was fate!

I really did enjoy your entry, thoroughly. I did put your poem in my Bookcase -- maybe twice -- a senior moment, lol?
The only term I had to look up was "lantana" -- it's a flower common to Australia. But your identity is still hidden; we have plenty of Australians on this site. Lantana is a beautiful flower, as I saw on Google. I may have seen them on occasion here in New York and maybe in Florida. They apparently have many varieties and colors, doing justice to its inflorescence.
You take care, too. Try to stay dry. God bless you :-) Mary Kay

What a treat to read! It was well-thought-out, magical, and expanded my vocabulary. Thank you for putting some of the words' definitions down below. Great job, can't wait for spring.

Talk about a tongue twister! You did a great job of painting a spring scenario without using the forbidden words! Complicated, but fun to read. Hope you do well in the contest.

"Complicated Beauty", is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. To me, this is a six, but sadly I've run out of them. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Oh and how adroitly you alluded to the forbidden words, starting off with the GIF. I'm smiling just for that. That water falling from the sky has managed to become a superb entry into this contest along with the trumpets and effloresce.
Really neat idea and I wish you much luck in the voting booth.

Very cleverly written but very difficult to read and understand. I saw your definitions after I had read it a few times...a little too late. It is indeed unique. Be blessed, Jude
