Wow. My most ambitious palindrome is ANNA. This ranks up there with A MAN A PLAN A CANAL PANAMA. Visually impressive re the mirror-imaging as well. Cheers. LIZ

Hi Dana,
I love your comments. I do like fantasy so faery and unicorn characters just seem to pop into my mind. Thank you for the encouraging comments about the writing.

There's a lot of single word lines here, but I think the poem worked structurally, and I love this sense of a kalaidascope of images of moonbeans and unicorns and mystical, magical worlds, tenuous and fantastic, jumbling around and scattering this light all around. I loved the repetitive, minimalistic elements of this. It works musically, rhythmically, and visually. So you have everything working there. Great job imagining and crafting this. estory

Hi estory,
Thank you for the wonderful six star rating and encouraging comments. Yes, this one does have a lot of one word line. That's not my typical style, but it made it easier to keep track of where I was in doing the mirror image.
Thanks again for the specific feedback. It means a lot that you would take the time for a close read.

This is a nice done palindrome poem on my favorite subject, fantasy characters. It is a beautiful illustrative piece of artwork you chose.
This is a hard form and you did it well.

Anything done well seems easy and comes across as natural and unforced. Thus your poem is very well done. I admire how you wove the palindrome together. I'm a sucker for unicorns and moonbeams!

That's very impressive, W.J.!
I have never attempted to write a palindrome poem, and probably never will. I can see it takes skill and lots of patience.
Good luck in the contest!

Hi Ogden (Don),
Thank you for the great comments. There isn't a contest, but so many people have mentioned they haven't seen a palindrome poem before that I might sponsor one.

Hmm. If you do, I think I'll pass on that one, Debi. (It's not unlikely that it wouldn't get very many entries.) :)
