Wow, that sure is an interesting choice for the topic, I love the reminiscing tone. Wonderfully said and very fun to read even for someone who doesn't have similar experiences.

We all treasure those high school memories, and here is one memory of a boyfriend that seems to be from the 1970s. There is some 'm' and 'd' alliteration throughout. Caught the end rhyme of 'dawn' and 'on.' Nice tie in to Aerosmith rock lyrics.

A great memory for me! Aerosmith was a huge part of my growing up. Lately I find myself going on YouTube and finding songs I loved when I was a teenager and in college. I must be in a nostalgic phase. Great poem. Good luck in the contest!
