Hello, this is clever. I got all the words apart from 'billing', which I've never heard before. Interesting poem and your author notes certainly fill in any gaps the reader might have. I noticed no errors. Shame he got to crap on your dreams. lol. But in love, that can often be the way.
Pigeons helped my ancestors take a city without unleashing an arrow. They came to a town and it had strong fortifications, so they watched and waited, wondering how to take it, and then they noticed that the residents kept a lot of pigeons which they let out in the morning and they would fly back to nest before sunset. So, the Vikings captured them and tied firebrands to their tails, which they took back to their lovey straw nests and as a result, the city burned to the ground. haahahahaha
You should seek a publisher for these. They are interesting and nicely written and the idea is quite original. And an original idea is the hardest rabbit to pull out of the hat. Most things have been done before.
Have a nice day, Eve :)

Thanks for your review. That was an interesting Viking story. I bet the pigeons couldn't wait to get home quickly with their tails on fire.
Thanks for your supportive comments about publishing. I have started thinking about that and will spend some time on putting an approach together. I've been told a couple of people here on FS are copying my idea and writing 5-word 'boyfriend' stories themselves, pinched my idea, although they do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I value originality myself. I think it is fine to be inspired by something, to be influenced, but do something different with it.

Ah, that poor pigeon never got quite the honor he deserves because there are so many of them and no one knows where all the squabs (baby pigeons) are. But I am thankful for the heroic messenger pigeons!
Another fun one!
