Hello Sally. The idea of incorporating a Nonet into a chapter of your book is outstanding. This letter is well written and I like the reference of Kristin being able to handle Captain Lewis. It shows a total picture of the depth of her character aside from the love letters. Well written. Z

It's so true. My husband is very romantic, even after all our years of marriage. We had a long courtship and wrote piles of letters to each other. I am a pro and have had many letters of my own for inspiration for this story. I'm so glad you are staying with this series. Her replies are inmtje posts called, To My Secret Admirer. These two stories will run in tandem until Christmas Eve Eve.
Sending you my best today with many thanks for your kind review,
Sally xo

What a lovely Nonet on the Nines. You did a very good job of relating the love and devotion between these two romantic souls. Well done Sally.

You definitely excel at writing the nonet form...and for incorporating it so naturally into the letter portion of your posting. That is very clever and allows the reader to see further into the heart of the poet. xo Janet

Beautiful, Sally, just beautiful. I do get the feeling that Captain Lewis is the secret admirer...
I have never tried writing a nonet; you seem to have great proficiency at it. One day I will try my hand at it.
Thanks for sharing this love letter on a clipboard. Have a super Sunday!

Thank our very much for the stellar review and six star shower. It means so much and delights me to no end when I see you and Louise's photo looking at me. I have a new keyboard and it's difficult. It's giving me commas, periods and spaces where I do not want them. Thank you for the helpful critique and good eyes. Hopefully, I will get the hang of this new keyboard soon. 'Love Letter on a Clipboard' has three chapters, and 'To My Secret Admirer' has two chapters, and the third one airs next week. I will post it after my newest 'What The Blind Girl Saw' chapter as I nearing the end and moving to publish that as a crime/mystery novella. Thanks again for all your help and support. Sending you both my very best today, and blessings in Christ our Lord,
Sally xoxo

So you're telling us the mystery man did not write the Nonet? You wrote it? Well, at least one of you fesses up. If he's an artist, I wonder if that will give her more clues to his identity. We'll have to see through her solving the clues. This is fun for the reader. Watching her solve the puzzle draws the reader in more and more.

This is beautiful, original and moving, Sally. The character depiction is great and I love all the little details.
You could turn this into a novel!

Ah, Im so delighted you enjoy it. Romance is in the air with Lorenzo and with my two characters in What The Blind Girl Saw, Hava and Leo. I love a good old-fashioned romance. Thank you so much for the six stars and kindest compliments. As always, it means so much.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xoxo

This is a commentary for numbers 2 and 3 together, as somehow I managed to miss the former until now. These are very moving letters, and it is lovely to see an example of the lost art (handwritten letters) rejuvenated. My only query is whether perhaps emotions are moving too fast. I don't want the romance to run out of steam before its time.
