I was having a bit of a sniffle while I was writing it. I have long been fascinated by the holocaust because I just fail to understand how it could have happened; how low some people sank on the scale of humanity. I was reading about Ilse Koch who was the commandant's wife at Buchenwald - how a woman could be so cruel!
