No Six over here probably till tomorrow, sorry. Good reading again. You never stop keeping us in suspense and wanting more twists and turns in your story. No spags.

Thanks, Geoffrey. I appreciate your comments about the twists and turns in the plot. I sometimes feel that I'm tying myself up in knots!

Good timing again, the SIXES have returned. Pretty tricky the way Arnout supposedly died then resurrected himself. This is still great reading and you have our interest firmly in the future of the story. No spags.

I do feel sorry for Charles, he succumbs so easily when it comes to Helen. Us women can be very manipulative when we want to be! lol. It seems that we are going to be rather chilled in the next few chapters, but will it also be very hot in other ways? And I don't mean under the sheets, which goes without saying!! I'll have to wait and see. This is another excellent part to this really entertaining story! Well done, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

Many thanks for this entertaining and supportive review, Sandra. Much appreciated.
I've just finished reading the most recent instalment of Eric. Bloodcurdling! LOL

Another excellent chapter, Tony. I liked the detail of Charles' reaction after the adrenaline rush subsided. Not a natural hero, which makes his courage more admirable. But Helen toys with him like a plaything.
Looking forward to the adventure.

Thanks, Julia. I've always found it interesting that the most ordinary of people are capable of rising to the occasion and doing the most extraordinary things.
All the best, Tony

Indeed, Tony. You are right.

You did a good job with this chapter, Tony. I enjoyed reading it. I know very little French and missed several words. I believe there is more to Helen than what she appears--maybe a spy/double agent. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Thanks, Jan. Helen is a bit of an enigma, isn't she? I appreciate your comments. All the best, Tony
