Wrote this one a few weeks ago for the contest (that i missed..ugh). :) I had teacher meetings all last week (for which I had to prepare the week before) and this week are the parent and student orientations....then school starts next week... My Immensely Talented Lady of the South... You really need to put together a book of short stories or something and publish these things. You are such a wonderful writer with a fabulous imagination! I love how these people just started walking through walls and chimneys... lol Good thing she wasn't the type to get freaked out by a seduction scene in the middle of nowhere! I may have turned tail and run for the hills! LOL

I missed the description that said it was a ghost story, but I began to figure it out part way threw. This is well done, a fun story of matching making and amazing cleaners. I wish I had some of these ghosts at my house. Sorry you missed the deadline. Rox

This is a wonderful story. Full of show, don't tell details. For a while, I was afraid the Major and crew were evil, but it turns out they were matchmakers. I can see Rich being taken aback by the reference to two centuries. I think I would have run! Seems like two people have found each other.

Very interesting story. It reads really well. You caught my attention
To me there were a few misplaced sentences giving back story.
However, it did not pull too much energy from the writing. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this piece.
