A very well-written shape poem. My very first car was a 1966 VW beetle a blood red monster that eats the kilometers wherever I go with her, she never let me stand along the road.

I've only owned one Volkswagen, the old beetle shape, I traded it for part of buying a business, some forty years ago, it made me very sad at the time, so I understand. A very innovative post Dear Yvette, one could classify it as a shape poem, well done, my friend, blessings, Roy

Very creative the way you shaped the poem. In Australia they were called VDub's. They were an amazing little car with a well won reputation for their reliability. I think I only ever once rode in one.
I had a VV, that was a Vauxhall Viva. Not quite a beetle, but it got me around.
Your poem was clever in the way it rhymed.

Honestly? Super job with the shape poem, Yvette! I saw the car shape right away (as I'm on my laptop at home and not using my cell phone which ruined even short poem shapes! Your poem gave me a feel for your adventurous spirit during your teen years!
