I absolutely love the photo chosen to go with this short piece. Overall perfection and this should certainly win in the contest. It is superb. Life does leave clues on our body and mind in numerous ways and this writer nailed it with this piece. Love it!

Dear Mystery Poet,
Absolutely right. Life leaves imprints across our faces... and our backs and legs and stomachs (for those of us who bear children.) And so much more. *smile* This was super. Thanks and good luck!

I think you have satisfied the contest's requirements brilliantly with this little gem. The picture you chose is perfect, only I'd say the glint in this man's eyes belies the message of the poem somewhat -- he looks up to shenanigans, doesn't he? LOL. (But that's charming -- he could still be a worrier and have led a hard life.)
Good luck!

I agree about the shenanigans. Lines can be laugh lines as well;^) Thanks, Dawn!

Dear Author,
I agree: life does leave clues on our faces with past expressions we made. In seven words you told in your poem, a large story and smile lines instead of frown marks....
Excellent contest entry!
My best,
Deborah

Your presentation is fabulous and the poetic offer is so exactly right. Those clues cover our faces from simply living life. Loved this one. Good luck. xoxo Kiwi

I like the message of this. In many cases, the face an the eyes that haven't been tampered with by plastic surgeons will eventually tell the story. It is like a road map of sorts. This is very clever and well thought out. I like what you were able to say in so few words. Great job and well done!

That is so true. Our faces show our whole story. The eyes tell of the soul, the face of our loves, and hardships. This is a wonderful seven word poem. Well done and good luck. :)) Sandra xx

I believe you have correctly complied to the writing prompt, with your
seven well chosen words. The photo-art selection is well complementing.
A worthy effort, best wishes.
