Hello Tina, I loved these three stanzas in perfect 3/6/9 form. Very well conceived and the content is so lovely. Reading your author notes, I agree with you absolutely - part of my mother remains with me and I think of her every day. Good Luck in the contest - I loved it. Your review means so much to me because you can relate to it. Yes, that's my momma. She died when I was 18 but I still remember her by bring grateful for her and trying to be like her:)

My mum is still alive, but unfortunately she has Alzheimer's so, in a way, I can relate to this.

Yes that's my mom. She died when I was a teenager. People say we look alike. My dad has Alzheimer's, just in the beginning stages, but I feel for you. I m so sorry for her and you. I really think that's the worst disease .

You are so right - hardly a day goes by but what I think of something Mom would have said - something she did - the legacy she left us kids. She also loved Jesus - was a quiet Finnish lady - kept her own counsel, but prayed like sixty for us all

This poem is a beautiful combination of words. Such a tribute to a special and loving mother. I count 3-6-9 syllable lines in each stanza with the last two lines having an ending rhyme. The photograph is fantastic--lovely woman. Enjoyed very much!
