A very sweet poem. I am so glad your little kid makes you feel this way, so pleasant. This is definitely a poem that many sweet parents will relate to.

Beautiful! It doesn't take many words for you to say a lot. We can all relate to that feeling of gratefulness for someone wonderful in our lives. Thank you for sharing a part of yourself with us. Love the sentiment!

All of your syllables are well-used in this 5-7-5 that expresses the
boost of faith in God that we experience when He allows us to see
the wonders of His most precious creation!

This is very beautifully worded and captivating! Much much emotion is felt in this one! A beautiful genuine and adorable picture to accompany!--It's a perfect fit! This speaks of a parent's love for their child that is absolutely genuine and so much for their growth and happiness in feeling God's presence with their child. Truly a poem written about the love for the child and how sincere the parents are. Great word choices!! I might recommend increasing the font size and bolding it for a stronger presentation. The picture is a great hook! Beautiful all around! Much enjoyed this thought today.

A very touched and inspiring verse for this faith writing prompt.
Your illustrated child gives us hope for his future, whether he becomes the next Lionel Hampton or not. LOL

Comment from Miss Sherry
A glorious poem about seeing every smallest thing as well as the large. When we see the miracle of achievement our hearts burst with joy. When my 15-month-old son watched Sesame Street one day and read a word on his own, I was so ecstatic I told everyone. Joy is in noticing everything.

Comment from Ms. Snyder
I felt exactly the same way. Up until I had a child ( a son ) I didn't feel God with me. I felt him every time my son would explore or be determined to finish something. Each time he did something spectacular in sports. It was a present that I never could have imagined receiving. This 5-7-5 is a beautiful depiction of exactly what I felt about my now 25-year-old son at the ages when he would so many years ago amaze me in small and wondrous ways. Cheers, Fonda

And it keeps getting better, the older they get. That's the real gift. Thanks for this absolutely lovely review, Fonda, and the delicious vignette about your son.

I enjoyed your contest entry, Mystery Author. Your words pair nicely with your art choice. Good job on the syllable count per line. Your few words/syllables are required speak volumes about faith. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Jan

A nice, colorful and complimentary artwork for your poem. A good 5-7-5 syllable count. In three lines you've made a strong Christian statement. Having two children I identified with your work.
