I discovered on a recent trip that not having coffee available early in the morning for my wife was indeed "grounds for fighting." I mostly drink it cold, but do without it. Still, I enjoy how you describe it here, especially in your first stanza. I think other coffee lovers will relish reading this poem. Rod

This was a good write, Chip. I think you really captured that horrible feeling of having no coffee. And the artwork really rounded out the presentation perfectly. Good job.
