That was beautiful, Gloria. It was like a kick in the stomach when I read the news on the front page. We all have a special memory of him, and we'll never forget him. The poetry, the novels, everything he did to help people, is a lasting legacy of a well loved man. Well done, I'm sure he's looking down and smiling. xxxx

Oh my lady you nailed it, him, his caring and 'go for it' attitude. As I said he friended me when no one else would, then brought me to love prose even though I kicked and screamed all the way. Very well done

All of us were indeed blessed to have know n and read the writings of Michael. My fondest memory is how many times he used blue colors in his post. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about our friend. Patricia

I put off reading this story until today when I could read without interruption, but also when I got up the courage. This is such a shock and I'm hoping somebody will say it was not true. Of all people to go, they had to take one so full of life and talent. I have lost my desire to write scripts because it was his project to get that going this year. Maybe he is the one chosen to defend earthlings from being destroyed and had to be an angel to speak effectively on our behalf?
Your story is heartfelt and allows the reader to get to know more about the Michael you knew. You two had a great connection. I gues s it's best to be thankful for the time you had to connect rather than feel sad for what isn't meant to be in the future. I can imagine quite well how he encouraged you to keep writing all year. You did great too! Just like when he helped me work on my silly fish poem. It's a fun memory for me, and I like that. I'm happy for you to have happy memories of him and an incredible success story in getting that trophy.
