Clever and spooky. I'm thinking since you have " I continued" you could leave out "I mused" and use two words somewhere else if word count has to be exact. Just a thought.

Good evening, Y.M

Oh, this is just fabulous! Love the twist with the invisible boy having to dress up so as to be seen :)

Really put a smile on my chops.

I wish you well in this competitive competition.

kind regards

This is a very clever write. It takes one aback at first reading, Very good story for so few words. I kept wondering where the invisible boy was going, but I guess no one will know. Reminds me of those old radio shows and tv shows, Best of luck in the contest.

Do I recognize a theme that is in your book? I am thinking of those boots outside the tenement house. I'm still pondering that chapter.
This one is clever as well, but I think that I have it all figured out. The guy was invisible, and he was checking out The Invisible Man. Right? He left his clothes by the door because he did not need to be visible after he checked out the books.
Or, maybe he laughs when the librarian makes the no party comment because he is partying in the buff. . . Nah. He's invisible.
This one is fun, Yvette.

And don't forget the other pairs of shoes earlier on... :) ;)
And yes! The intent was that he was actually invisible!! :) ;) Thanx for the review, MQ ... and no, I promise, no connection whatsoever between the two writes. :) ;) ;) You're so awesome - take good care down there! :) Yvette :)

LOL! Sounds to me like he ended up a little TOO visible, unless he had donned a shiny silver costume to act as a mirror. Otherwise, he really a book called "The Invisible Clothes".

Lol. I hope he didn't follow the formula in the book. Doesn't the guy become insane? I can't remember the book now. But that's a very cute ending - with the clothes of the invisible boy outside!
