Love this! Things change as our health deteriorated or burdens stress us. Mother nature adjusts our thermostats bother down and up. The real comfort o f love is to have each others in the darkness and the light. I like this very much.

Hello Dear Yvette,
Oh! How right you are about the stages of marriage. And how wonderful that those stages do exist! I have loved them all. But most all, after forty years of marriage, I still look for my husband in a crowd, am thrilled by his hand in mine, and feel a sense of urgency if he is gone too long...
I loved every morsel of your exceptionally well-crafted poem. And I cannot wait to read the first chapter of our novel. Just have to find time to luxuriate in its content!
Thank you for sharing!

Oh wow! I have to tell you, Diane -- your review has ended my week on a good and happy note so no need to wait on more!! :) ;) Thank you, thank you for your review...and, yes, I'm just like you: I love having my hubby with me...he's been traveling a bit much for my tastes (lol!) and it's actually good to have him home this weekend! :) ;) ;) Wouldn't trade any of those stages for anything and we're only at 30! :) Thanx for the smiles and have a wonderful weekend, ma'am! :) ;) Yvette

Extremely clever entry in the contest, Yvette. It must have taken some thought of your happiness and happy loved-filled marriage in order to put forth such an ingenious poem. Best of luck. I hope you win, you certainly deserve to. My favorite lines are:
"And, yes, there's still need to 'check that king',
but the bed will do . . . most days!"
Bless you, my friend. Bob
