Haikus are difficult to write. Not enough words in my opinion. But you've managed to paint a very effective picture here. I particularly like the last line.

Your haiku form creates a clear picture of nature. "Sleeping beauties" is a wonderful last line that shows how winter eventually leads to beauty. Excellent use of words that creates a winter scene.

A lovely seasonal haiku for a perfect kigu about the snow falling on the flowerbed. It fully captured the difficult requirements of that Japanese format. I felt the artistic flourish within that satori. Well done! Best of luck in the contest.

A very well-written haiku about the snow that cover the flower bed make the flowers to have their beauty sleep until spring comes back again. The first snow of the season is always the best one.
