Mmmmmmmmmm... Don't you just love Chocolate Chip cookies on a rainy day! We always made them on rainy summer days while we played endless games of Monopoly! Those were the days! Wonderful memories of warm cookies for sure. We never made any other kind. Nicely done!

I'm already chomping on these 'chocolate chip' cookies (oh, do I enjoy your 'ch' alliteration sound and the c-word to accompany the same!)

Ooey - gooey is an apt description of just-pulled-from-the-oven cookies - your short poem has a great taste to my (reading) palate.

As a 'Cookie Monster' of any kind, I will certainly eat warm cookies, but I prefer the ones with a little crunch, so I can wait to eat more than a few with a glass of milk or a cup,of tea!

I love this cookie verse. The photo is great and perfect. This type of cookie is my favorite and I love to eat them warm with a cup of milk. Well done and good luck.

This speaks how much we are keen and prepared for enjoying our cookie celebration day filling tummy by the storm of warm soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

A very well-written twenty syllable poem about the mouth watering chocolate chip cookies. When you eat one, the rest of the plate will not last long after that for sure.

My wife is baking chocolate chip cookies today and you have described their consistency, taste and smell perfectly in this twenty-sylkable poem. Good luck in the contest. Rod

Whenever that sweet lady up at Toll House made that mistake, it was the greatest thing ever!! There is just NO beating a warm chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven...avoiding the 'hot chocolate' is the best challenge year 'round!! :) :) Thank you for sharing and best of luck at the polls!! :)

Thank you for this! Shot my diet to pieces you did! Oh wel...it is Christmas and the holidays. I think anything chocolate fits the bill for me as long as they are gluten-free!
All my best to you and in the contest,
Sally

Hmm, yummy! Great picture and an excellent description of mouth watering cookies - straight out of the oven. I could almost taste them. Fantastic entry. Best of luck in the competition. ~DD
