I love your poem.. It is delightful and insightful, into the pure essence and joy that childhood can hold for most of us... wherein the only main purpose of getting up in the morning, is to explore, see what the world will bring, to marvel at the simple beauty in the stars and skies, to play with abandon, to know nothing of cut-throat competition, and to just enjoy laying on the ground, looking up at the cloud animals... and just being happy to 'be me.' --- :)

Very simple and clear poem about how easy in is being three. It shows the pure faith of the young and how easy they believe in themselves. Too bad most of us lose that when we grow older.

This is a great entry. My grandniece is turning three next week and I can differently see how you can create a poem about how happy they are about being three and also about being me. Everything makes them happy.

Many would be surprised at those who can remember their third birthday even when they are old. Nothing is more precious as a child especially on a day like this. Well done.

Boy, all children should feel so good about life that they experience what you describe in your poem. But not every kid does. At a gas station, a truck driver had this greasy hat that read, "YOU'RE NEVER TOO OLD TO HAVE A HAPPY CHILDHOOD."
