Well written with no need for any grammatical corrections. Dialogue flows smoothly and is realistically written. Would need to read more to see where this might be going.

I enjoyed reading this chapter, and I am wondering how this will all play out. I'm not sure he should be trusting this woman or be working with her, but we shall see!

She certainly seems as though she might be a nasty piece of work! I hope the poor man survives! At the moment he seems a bit out of his depth.

When I read Horse and Hound I thought of Notting Hill. I love the intrigue of their...I'm thinking Charles may be the trout...a rainbow one so there is the sense of promise.
I will definitely be reading more . Well penned

Thanks, Jenny. He certainly seems to be getting hooked, or at least led by the nose!

A very well-written chapter in the story of the French letter, that leads the author to the art exibitions where he meets Helen, who are able to help him decifer the mysterious letter.
