Good read, educational, good pick for Sunday read, Sunday best pick, a charitable plea for world peace, image to match, detailed poetry, this post is special because
it can help others and it is put in a creative way that draws attention, it keeps the reader interested to read on. inspirational creation of which i can relate to, being a
proud successful helper myself, my made family now helps me in so many ways.
Good Luck!

Hello, you are quite the rationalist, I agree entirely, and I wondered where the allied forces were when a whole people were stranded and dying of thirst up Mt Sinjar, driven from their homes and persecuted as a result of the invasion of Iraq. We could have rescued the Yazidis, but instead, we do this:
But, people die because of us.
We can't be bothered with the fuss.
Evil men prosper because good men do nothing but philosophize over coffee tables. It's a shame. Even if you could help one child, and then maybe sponsor two or three as you find ways to make that commitment. Anything practical is better than nothing but rhetoric, which always comes cheap.
I know you are thinking of a particular group of refugees but it is something played out more and more all over the place.
Thanks for sharing this one, lovely rhyming and rhythm, and nothing jarred. Your content is always what speaks to me. cheers, Ana.

Thank you Ana. I was also thinking of the genocides being perpwtuated in the Rohingya in Myanmar, the genocide in Dafur, and the civil war in the Congo which has claimed four million lives. It is Catholics versus Protestants. Thank you for the great review

This is a beautiful poem. It flows really well and has great use of words. It also tugs at the heartstrings and includes a touching message. A fully thought provoking and hollowing work of art! Really good stuff!

Thank you Jen. Have you heard of the Rohingya. They are a minority sect in Myanmar who are being wiped out in a genocide. Thank you for the great review

I'm afraid that there is uncomfortable truth in this. I didn't know about the earlier events in Miami, but history does have a habit of repeating itself and we are slow to learn from our mistakes. These days we seem to be inured to tragedy, watching it on a daily basis on the world news. We are just spectators, tut-tutting about the 'over there' without doing very much, if anything about it. I have great respect for those who do take action - people like the doctors of Medicine without Frontiers, etc.

I do too, Tony have respect for aid workers and doctors. My niece is a doctor and did that for a year in Africa. Not as dangerous. Thank you for the great review
