I liked this poem, similar to the loop I have just done,
But yours does cut,
Often we regret not calling or saying bye, your philosophy is correct.
All in a shirt nine lines.
Excellent.

So well said in these short lines - which emphasizes the hurried pace of life today. Yes, we prefer to just text to make things quicker for everyone but we do miss out by not hearing the loved one's voice one more time.

Hello lyenochka, thank you for your great review and for sharing your thoughts, especially ... "we do miss out by not hearing the loved one's voice one more time." Sad, but true. Once again, thank you for your review and for stopping by my writing pad. LateBloomer

Hello Margaret
You poem with nine lines has a message not only for the young also for older folks to remind us spread our time and take and give the ones you love a call to say, hello and ask how they are doing.
Gert

I could really relate to your message and think you have written a very good thought provoking message. I took care of my dad after my mother passed and I did all I could to spend time with him and when he passed I had very few regrets about the time and effort I spent with him. People often take others way too much for granted.

Well underlined, shouldn't be, but sadly is. And by writing it will be noticed and the wished I call will be less spread.

Hello Latebloomer (love the names on this site, I might change mine so it is a fantasy name.) I really liked your poem, and there are some great observations within its lines. If we had our time over again, I think we would all do things differently, like listen more actively and talk with more care. That's what I took from your poem and I found it a work that was a pleasure to read and review, Ana.

Hello Anastasia Healthfield, thank you for your great review and for sharing your thoughts. I think that most of us could be better listeners. As a friend of mine always says ... That is why God gave us two ears, but just one mouth. Once again, thank you. I truly appreciate the time spent. LateBloomer
