Hi there, this is a wonderfully different poem. It really made me smile. It is so funny yet at the same time it's so very sweet. The imagery is marvelous. Yes, I definitely enjoyed reading this. All the best. Ulla:)))

I have enjoyed reading your poem very much. It's moving at funny at the same time and I like the fact that you've structured it as if it was a dialogue between a mother and a son.
Good luck in the contest.

very good, a story type poem has great rhyming, reads well for the poem and story. Nicely done. Good luck on this and have a great day.

That was both funny and sweet, Rhonnie, I loved it. I'm sure your mother will love it if you write it in her mother's day, card. I would. lol. We had our mother's day in March. UK. This is a lovely contest entry, good luck! xxx Sandra

A nice take on a mother and son's relationship, from the pea to God for a son to his mother pushing him out into this world. Love, honor, respect and obedience the building blocks of a wonderful relationship... Nice!

You have written a fun and rollicking Mother's Day Poetry entry. The dialogue between your two characters is mutual and free-flowing. Well done on this.

"Push!", is well-written and thought-provoking piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. You KEEP WRITING and I'll KEEP READING. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Wanting a son and Jesus answers .The birth process adds to the poems content."
All the pain ensures because son is worth it .
My pride and joy,it hurts so good". Along with"he's got a big head"
because he is smart.Even the birth pain can't deter you.
The reader knows Christ is at the hey of this home. Pushing!! And your son is very respectful of our Lords laws or commandments the poem speaks to that and he will obey and respects his mom. Good luck in the contest. Kat

This is so wonderful. A great tribute to Mother's Day, for sure. I enjoyed the story/poem throughout. I am sure you make your mother proud of your kindness, love of God, and your talent! Good luck to you in the contest.

Oh but I remember those years. Of pushing, screaming, crying. I think I even fainted one time and I did it seven times! But I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for the memories. GOD Bless you :)
