Very nice poem. I like it , especially the last stanza. It flows well, it rhymes like its supposed to and I like the message that it delivers and the way it is delivered. Thanks for sharing.

This is a clever and wise write and I enjoyed the concepts and sentiments. Great rhymes and flow too, in some ways your poem gives me hope that once the roof is fixed, thirst will be quenched when we all remain dry, love Dolly x

This poem sounded like a great country song to me, or perhaps just a song. It was so musical in its swinging rhythm and excellent rhymes. I could almost hear it sung. I enjoyed reading it so much. I would like to read more. MM
